Kasteel Genoels-Elderen CHARDONNAY WIT

Bright pale yellow with glimmers of green. A springtime bouquet, initial floral notes, following are impressions of just-ripe stone fruits. Finesse and elegance of Chardonnay. Balanced with a polished acidity for a long and refreshing finish.

An ideal aperitif, to enjoy on an afternoon terrace, for receptions and garden parties. Can be served with seafood and combines perfectly with Belgian white asparagus.

All our wines are bottled at the Castle and are for sale as supplies last.



TECHNICAL: Yield <50hl/ha, Chardonnay made from the youngest vines, for which the fermentation and maturing is done predominantly in stainless steel temperature-controlled tanks during 18 months.

AWARDS: silver certificate Best Wine with Asparagus.
